These pictures are of a British Infantry Tank Mk IV, more commonly known as the Churchill Tank. The version you see in the photographs here is a Churchill Mk VII, or Crocodile, one of 'Hobart's Funnies' as used on D-Day. David Russell, having discovered it in a scrap yard in the south of England, lovingly restored it over some twenty years, and was kind enough to let yours truly crawl all over it. These internal pics mainly concentrate on the driver's compartment and I have included some shots of the turret as well. For all of the purists, the silver paint was a British standard colour, designed to reflect light. I did a complete walkaround, and may add some of these images at a later date.
